Flanders Environment Agency (abbreviated VMM) is an agency of the Flemish government working towards a better environment in Flanders. Water, air and the environment are the three domains in which VMM is active. Within these three domains VMM has a wide range of responsibilities.
The cold and hot air are completely separated in the data center of VMM in Aalst. The heat released from the servers is recovered by a heat exchanger for the heating system.
Realization of Netconnect:
The LAK in Ghent was built for the VMM. The building is L-shaped and consists of 7 floors with an administrative part and a laboratory part. There is also a data center.
